Interdisciplinary Coast Salish Arts Course

PAFNW is pleased to announce the second intake of our Online Interdisciplinary Arts Course on Zoom. We are excited to be offering a broad program of classes in traditional and contemporary Coast Salish art forms to Coast Salish students for a 10-week run. Classes will be held each Thursday from April 22nd to June 24th 2021.

Enrolment is open to Coast Salish applicants residing in British Columbia. Registration is limited to twelve students and is open to all levels of skill and experience with preference given to emerging artists. All tuition, materials and supplies will be provided at no cost to students.

This course is generously funded by First Peoples’ Cultural Council, Heritage Canada, and the City of Vancouver.

Apply to be a Guest Instructor of PAFNW’s Interdisciplinary Coast Salish Arts Course

Up to three Coast Salish Art Instructors of various disciplines will be selected to each instruct 1-2 online classes over Zoom to a group of twelve Coast Salish students. Preference will be given to weaving and formline drawing & painting knowledge keepers; however, all applications will be considered. Instructors will receive an honorarium for sharing their time, skills and wisdom. Please fill out both forms below to apply.
